Lost to the consequences of war
Not all war casualties died directly during the shelling. Thousands of Mariupol residents passed away after what they endured—succumbing to the consequences of injuries, aggravated illnesses, and the effects of starvation, cold, and the inhumane conditions of the blockade and occupation.
These losses are also a consequence of Russian aggression. The Mariupol City Council is collecting information about people who died from the consequences of the events they lived through, in order to document the full scale of the city's tragedy.
If your relatives, loved ones or acquaintances died as a result of wounds, illnesses or conditions caused by the war and occupation, please report it using the form below.
Every testimony helps to establish the true number of victims and bring justice closer. The collected data is used to document war crimes and preserve the memory of those who died.
